Amelia
An Interview by Heather on April 12, 2010
I interviewed Amelia last night before bed. Since I just wrote about her from my perspective for her birthday (read that post here), I thought I should try and get her own unique voice for this post. This interview made me laugh.
Me: Amelia what is your favorite thing in the whole world?
Amelia: Going to sleep with Mama.
Me: What is your favorite thing to eat?
A: Cheesy macaroni. But I don't like tiny ladybugs or huge dinosaurs on my plate.
Me: What is your favorite treat?
A: I really love pink cupcakes, but I know that the pink one needed to go to Hadley tonight and I ate the yellow one.
Me: What is your favorite thing to do with Mommy?
A: Play blocks.
Me: What is your favorite thing to do with Daddy?
A: Sit in his lap.
Me: What about Sissy?
A: play pretend doggies.
Me: What's your favorite color?
A: Yellow
Me: What is your favorite book?
A: I'm not Scared...and then the bear comes along and trips right over Owlie, but he's NOT scared.
Me: What should we do tomorrow?
A: Ummm, like, go swimming or watch a movie, or sompet like that.
Amelia loves to play pretend, watch movies, take baths, read books, play with Hadley, and eat. Maybe not in that order, but those are the highlights of her three year old days. She's also the family comedian. She totally keeps life in perspective for us all.

Hadley Grace

Hadley Grace loves school and is excited to be in the third grade next year. Her favorite subject is art and she is thinking that she probably wants to be an artist when she grows up, but there aren't any subjects that she doesn't like! She likes to play tennis and basketball with her Dad and her favorite movie is Scooby Doo. Hadley also likes to play computer games. Her favorite food is tuna noodle casserole but she absolutely hates red peppers and squash. If she had a day to do anything she wanted she would visit everyone in her family; too bad she may not be able to make it to the family reunion this year! We will miss her. One of the things that makes Hadley unqiue from a lot of other people is that even though she's a girl, she still likes to play outside and get dirty. She even enjoys camping with her family; she definitely fits right into our family!
Even though I don't get to see Hadley very often, I can tell that she is amazing. We were able to write some letters to eachother, and I loved getting to know her better. She is a loving and caring older sister. She is very smart, a good writer, and I can tell that she is enjoying living life. I hear that she's a great reader and gets a kick out of the Sunday comics. I look forward to getting to know her better and hopefully seeing her sometime soon!
