Marc Bascom

By Whitney Bascom
Marc Anthony Bascom was born on September 11, 1984 in Las Gatos, CA and spent the first part of his childhood near Boston, Massachusetts. When he was 9, his family moved to Royal Tunbridge Wells, in Kent county, just south of London, England. Here, he spent most of his actual "growing up life." Here, he grew up going to an all boys grammar school, driving on the wrong side of the road, and loving "football" (soccer) and rugby in his free time. He is the second oldest in a family of 4; with an older brother (27), a younger sister (21), and a youngest brother (18). He served an LDS mission between 2003 and 2005 in Athens, Greece and only a few months after returning, was off to Brigham Young University. Where he is presently is today. He married the wonderful Whitney Ward in August of 2008.

Marc has a passion for technology, cooking, and sleeping. He loves to create new recipes and is skilled in finding new tastes. He loves going to the Cinema and playing board games (much to the love of his mother in law). He also enjoys playing video games and always makes an effort to spend time with his family as two of his siblings that live near us in Provo. He is a computer science major at BYU and hopes to be able to create computer animated movies or video games post graduation.
