Steve and Laure met at BYU Provo their freshman year in 1980. They both
lived in Deseret Towers. Steve was so handsome and exciting as he drove on
his motorcycle to church, Laure fell for him instantly. They started
dating in October and were married the next year on October 22, 1981.
Steve graduated from BYU Provo in 1987 and they moved to Seattle for his
first real job with Boeing and still live in the Seattle area in Carnation.
Steve now works for a small company named Sila and consults for Boeing.
Steve and Laure have five children, Lauriel, Rachelle, Josh, Alec and Emma,
plus two sons in law, Andrew and Taylor. Their 30 married years together
have been busy with family and church service, mixed with lots of fun
camping, boating, hiking, skiing and traveling. Gratefully, their love for
each other and their testimonies of Jesus Christ have been the source of
strength to meet the challenges of life.
You didn't mention Dad's cool coat he wore.
ReplyDeletePatches on the elbows...he had that jacket for long time. I was sorry to see it get retired. and a motorcyle....it was all great. Laure
